Cookie Policy
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones RAVES uses, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.

What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use a web application. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your login state, preferences, or usage patterns — so the experience can be personalised and improved over time.
Cookies can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (stored for a set period). They may be set by RAVES directly ("first-party") or by our service providers ("third-party").
Cookies We Use
We categorise our cookies into four types. Click any category to see details.
Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can manage cookie preferences in several ways:
- Browser settings — most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. See your browser's help documentation for instructions.
- Cookie consent banner — when you first visit RAVES, you can choose which optional cookie categories to accept.
- Platform settings — logged-in users can update analytics and preference cookie choices in Account Settings → Privacy.
- Opt-out links — for third-party analytics tools, opt-out links are provided in our cookie consent manager.
Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the RAVES platform from functioning correctly. We recommend keeping these enabled.
Cookie Retention Periods
- Session cookies — expire when you close your browser tab.
- Authentication tokens — typically 30 days (or until you sign out).
- Preference cookies (theme, language) — up to 1 year.
- Analytics cookies — up to 24 months, per provider policy.
- Marketing pixels — up to 90 days.
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our website are placed by third-party services we use. These providers have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review:
- Google Analytics — analytics and performance measurement.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag — professional audience analytics.
- Clearbit — company logo enrichment on the public website (no personal data collected).
